Today, the world’s attention is focused on “Ueno’s technology,” which has been recognized for reducing working hours and enhancing quality.

Ueno’s development efforts

Our winding machines won the “Nikkei BP Special Award” in the Nikkei Monodzukuri Grand Award (2008) and “JSPMI Chairman Award” in the 12th New JSPMI Award (2015). We will create more new products, with “creating lighter and more compact products while enhancing the characteristics” required by customers as the watchwords.

Redesigned the coil to realize ultra-high-speed winding

The high-speed automatic winding machine for Ueno Coil was created by redesigning the shapes of the coil core and copper wire. This machine enables the winding of wires approximately 50 times faster than manual winding. A total of over one hundred million Ueno Coils have been sold so far, which are mounted mainly in the power circuits for TVs, LED lights, and AC adapters, etc.

Automatic winding machine for toroidal coils

Producing coils of stable and high quality in a short delivery time

In 2007, we developed an automatic common mode choke coil winding machine for the first time in the world. Mechanizing fine and complex human movements achieved the stabilization of quality and shortening of delivery time. This machine is used in our Mikawa Plant, our domestic production base, which has produced a total of 60 million common mode choke coils so far (as of July 2019).
