Ryuichi Ueno

Entering the new era of Reiwa, our company that was founded in 1982 has continued in business for 37 years. We appreciate that this is due to the patronage and support of our customers. Based on the many difficulties we have experienced in the past and the knowledge we have obtained so far while overcoming such difficulties, we will build up our business in the future.

So far, we have uniquely cultivated two fields in the toroidal coil industry. The first is the creation of the fully-automated manufacturing line that we started developing in 2003. We introduced a certain amount of equipment by 2012, whose production volume accounts for approximately 80% of total domestic production volume, or 500 thousand coils monthly in number.

The second is the development of a square coil named “Ueno Coil.” Developed in 2011, this product acquired a particularly good reputation overseas and achieved explosive growth because it overcame the weaknesses of toroidal coils (low high frequency characteristics and variation in quality due to manual winding). Since its introduction, Ueno Coil has so far sold approximately 100 million units (as of May 2019).

We will continue to push forward with development and work on the design and manufacture of more advanced coils.
